Though recently rebuilt, the land known as Okami wasn't always home to a thriving winter city. Before being founded by Lady Snow, the lands were mostly barren with a few abandoned cottages and miles of thick forest surrounding either side. Now, a large city thrives within the forests
Though not divided into factions or cities, there are areas connected to Okami that travelers tend to seek out, such as the renowned Academy of spiritually and magically gifted individuals. The academy is rather large and serves as both a place to learn and a sanctuary for those who have no home of their own to return to after lessons. The academy also houses the armory for the guards and protectors of Okami.
Several beings and species roam these wintery lands, from common owls and foxes to much more dangerous creatures such as balverines and large wolves.
There are also magical beings within the land such as faeries and forest spirits, though those are very rarely seen by raise who do not call the land home.
The chosen of Levar and the Snow hunters are protectors of the Okami lands and surrounding areas. Many tales of a great white and blue dire wolf have spread throughout the land, though the creature hasn't been seen by anyone in some time, as if it had gone into hiding.
